What is New Media?
According to PC Magazine, New Media is the forms of communicating in the digital world, which includes electronic publishing on CD-ROM, DVD, digital television and, most significantly, the Internet. It implies the use of desktop and portable computers as well as wireless, handheld devices. Most every company in the computer industry is involved with new media in some manner. Contrast with old media.

Safety and security are probably the most popular concerns today, and many of us forget the importance of one’s reputation. There are an innumerable amount of situations in which people learn the hard way that many of us are quick to post things and casually write what we are thinking, without first stopping to think how it might be interpreted. Social Networking sites should be used responsibly.
